Since 1968, the Scott Companies have been involved in the construction equipment business in the Intermountain West.

In 1995 the Company acquired Intermountain Bobcat and operates it today as a business unit of what is now known as Scott Intermountain Companies, which is owned and operated by brothers—David and Jeffrey Scott.
